The GoBook MR-1 comes standard with an ergonomically designed keyboard, four wireless connectivity capabilities (WLAN, PAN [Bluetooth], WWAN and GPS) and a 5.6” Wide SVGA outdoor viewable LCD display (touchscreen featuring patent pending DynaVue™ technology). Docking options include a full function vehicle dock for mounting in vehicles as well as a multi-IO mini-office dock so the unit can be used in a mobile office "on the go" or in an office environment.

- In addition to a heated hard drive, the GoBook MR-1 has an CCFL heater to improve display brightness in a cold environment. The heater includes a film and heater strip that is bonded over the CCFL area of the display. It is designed to activate when the temperature is cold enough to affect display brightness.
