The Patrol pack is designed with three distinct compartments. The outermost back pocket is large enough to fit most avalanche shovels, but it can also be used for rescue harnesses, etc. Immediately behind that is the generous main compartment for food, clothing, etc. The bottom pocket is designed to fit any of our patrol series first aid belts, or the Infinity Expedition kit, but is large enough to carry bivouac gear. The pack is constructed out of sturdy Cordura with anatomical wings and breathable back. It also features triple sewn taped seams, huge #10 coil zippers, compound curve shoulder straps, dual daisy chains, and a lifetime guarantee.
